I was born and raised in a Christian home where I was taught that my purpose was found in the will and word of God. But growing up, I often found myself asking: What does that actually mean for me? What am I supposed to do? Which path should I take?

For a long time, I felt like I was searching in the dark—trying to find clarity, trying to find my place. The world tells us to "just follow your passion," but what happens when your passion feels unclear? Or when the road ahead seems overwhelming? I needed guidance, patience, and space to explore my purpose. But I didn’t always have that.

I also know what it feels like to be different, to be isolated in your journey, and to feel like you’re figuring things out on your own. That’s why I want to help others who feel lost or discouraged—those who know they’re meant for more but just need that extra push, encouragement, and direction.

Over the years, I’ve found myself naturally coaching friends, coworkers, and peers—helping them navigate career moves, uncover their strengths, and build confidence in their ideas. I’d give advice on things I thought were common knowledge, only to realize that many people don’t have access to that insight. What felt natural to me was life-changing for them. That’s when it hit me: This is bigger than just casual advice—this is a calling.

Purpose isn’t just a buzzword; it’s a roadmap. When we understand our purpose, it shapes our actions, decisions, and values. It becomes our guiding light. And I believe no one should have to figure it all out alone.

That’s why I created Akoma Purpose Lab—a space designed to help people, especially women, take their ideas and turn them into actionable plans. My approach is rooted in heart, clarity, and courage—because I believe in making sure that every person I help not only gains direction but also feels seen, heard, and empowered in the process. Even when I have to challenge someone to push past fear, I do it with the heart in mind—ensuring that they walk away feeling respected, understood, and ready to step into their greatness.

This is more than a workshop. It’s a movement to help people get unstuck, step into their purpose, and build a life that aligns with their true calling. Akoma means heart, and that’s exactly where this work comes from.
